Oh how I love paper dolls!

My obsession with creating continues. I made this paper doll out of some scrapbook paper and some of my vintage blue pearl baby buttons. Not exactly sure what to do with her yet. She makes me smile when I look at her. My Mom plays paper dolls with her granddaughter all the time. She uses her vintage ones and then she and Little Miss cut up magazines to make their own. They love cutting up the "American Girl" catalog. Did you play with paper dolls when you were younger? It really is fun to make one. I highly recommend it!

Hi Heidi,

Thanks for dropping by my blog - Nice to meet you.

Yes, Killian sometimes steals my keyboard so he can post on my blog. He certainly has a lot of friends out in blogland.

It's fun to see what other folks do with their creativity. Your paper doll is very interesting...

Hi Heidi,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your paper dolls are cute! I like the use of buttons. Your post reminded me of when I was about 12 and I actually made a paper doll of myself and painstakingly made all of my paper clothes. Then I "tried on" all kinds of outfits to see which pieces and accessories would match for school the next day. Isn't that the silliest thing you ever heard of?!
