Do you take "no" for an answer?

After the separating of the twins for one day the school called and offered to put them in the same classroom. Not exactly sure what changed the Principal's mind just glad that something did. Home life is peaceful once again. So I'm curious to know how many of you would take "no" for an answer?

aybe the principal read your blog! ;-)
I am glad to hear your twins are back together. As a former teacher, I wouldn't have chosen to do something that would emotionally disturb the children. Some twins are happy to be seperated, some don't.
taking no for an answer? not if I am sure the answer is unfair or irrelevant. I am French after all! I always defend my point of view which doesn't always make it easy when you live in England...

Hope you and your family have a lovely and happy week!

Patricia.

yay! i think that with children, you need to be flexible and not make it one rule fits all because all children are different.

you did good!!

Depends on the situation :)

So glad to hear that your boys are back together. Makes life a lot easier, I am sure.

I wouldn't have taken NO for an answer if your boys were heart-broken. There is no one rule that fits everyone. I don't care what it it is. People need to be open-minded when dealing with children. That is just the way it is.

We are all human, not machines.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving, Heidi.

PS - I can't wait to see the restaurant! How exciting!
